Carl has worked within the Entertainment industry since 1989, where he worked as a member of Bradford's Alhambra Theatre stage crew for 10 years, on such shows as 42nd Street, Chess, Cats and Les Miserables.  He then left to work on film units for the (now sadly closed) Yorkshire Television Centre in Leeds until 2008.

In 2004, Carl trained as a Sports Therapist with the Active Health Group, one of the UK's leading Sports Therapy Colleges in Manchester, where he attained a distinction in an Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy, and then went on to train in vocal massage in 2009.

Carl provides a unique service to performers, orchestra members and stage management, and has found popularity within the industry and now travels all over  the UK to work with touring productions.

Productions Carl has worked on many productions including: Caberet, Flash Dance, Fame, Hairspray, Chess and Sound of Music.
